Daw Bank Cottage is a self catering holiday cottage in Cumbria to
sleep up to 5. A non-smoking, pet-friendly holiday retreat,
excellent for touring, walking and cycling.
Set on a hilltop with views of the Howgill Fells, Daw Bank is part
of the hamlet of Greenholme, a small rural farming community
surrounded by beautiful countryside.
The cottage is an 18th century barn converted to "upside down"
design, and the living room windows afford views of the Howgills,
the Lune Valley and the famous Shap gradient of the main West Coast
railway line.
Greenholme is an unspoilt area just north of Tebay Gorge and not
far from Orton, within easy reach of the northern Lake District, the
Yorkshire Dales and the Eden Valley.
