Daw Bank Cottage is a self catering holiday cottage in Cumbria to
sleep up to 5. A non-smoking, pet-friendly holiday retreat,
excellent for touring, walking and cycling.
It is part of the hamlet of Greenholme, just north of Tebay Gorge
in the Howgill Fells and not far from Orton, in a small rural
farming community and surrounded by beautiful countryside.
The cottage is an 18th century barn converted to "upside down"
design, and the living room windows afford views of the Howgills,
the Lune Valley and the famous Shap gradient of the main West Coast
railway line.
This unspoilt area is within easy reach of the northern Lake
District, the Yorkshire Dales and the Eden Valley.
